Welcome to Selenoid, the camera roll for Selen and friends.

This is a private site by nature and only registered folks can see the pics.

Why:

• The motivation comes from a few group activities and a bunch of 10MB emails going back and forth. Instead of emailing each other a bunch of pics, it seemed a good idea to have a single sink point where everyone can send or upload theirs, and can see other pics. All the prettying and gallerying done automatically for you, and you can bulk download all.
• In essence we get a poor man’s Picasa/Flickr without tying our content to any service. Nothing is hosted besides this site and content will not ever be shared elsewhere.
• It is more of a blog format so we can add any text and annotation we want.

How to Add Pictures:

• The simplest way to post pictures is “post via email“. Just email your pictures to the special email address and the rest will be done automatically. You do not need to register to post via email.
• Alternatively, you can login as a registered user with post priviledges and post text and media.

How to View Pictures:

• Only registered users can view pictures. You can register from the login page with your email and once it is confirmed you will receive your password to login. We don’t do anything with your email or username. We only need (and use) the email to send you the password information.
• There are also guest accounts we provide to those who do not want to register. Just let us know.
